Our Centenary

In 2018 we celebrated our centenary by creating a booklet which proved to be very popular. Thanks are certainly due to our resident historian, Helen Petrie, who researched the origin of park and allotment site, the need to feed the city during wars and pulled together information and pictures of more recent developments.

Our thanks also go to Maggie and Ian Ferguson who brought it all together into an attractive publication certainly appropriate for all that history.

You can download a PDF of the whole booklet below.
