Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop - a great success
We welcomed George Anderson, presenter with The Beechgrove Garden, last Sunday who set about fruit trees of all varieties, shapes and sizes. The one hour session extended to almost two hours as around 30 plotholders from Inverleith and other sites asked questions and sought advice.
Excellent feedback has been received and George himself has said -
It was good fun on Sunday, just the way it should be. I hope that the plot holders got something out of it all. There were some very good examples of fruiting and well cared for trees and others where a few snips here and there will transform them for years to come.
We now hope George can make a regular visit to us and see how his advice is helping us grow better fruit. Roll on the Inverleith Show to see whether it has.
